Why regular wins

Maintenance beats rescue.

A home that is kept up rarely needs saving. That is the whole argument for a rhythm.

Most homes get cleaned in two modes. There is the quick tidy that keeps things presentable, and there is the big push, the weekend lost to the bathroom and the oven, after the mess has gone from annoying to embarrassing. A regular service replaces both with something smaller and steadier.

The reason it works is simple. Dirt is easiest to remove at its thinnest. A film that has had a week to form wipes off with a cloth. The same film left for months sets, and then it needs a stronger product, more time and more effort. Regular visits do the small job while it is still small, so the big job never arrives.

What it takes off your list

Cleaning is rarely one task. It is a standing low-level decision, made over and over: is it bad enough yet, when will I get to it, who is doing the bathroom? A rhythm turns that into a calendar entry. The decision is made once, at the start, and the home is simply ready on the days it is meant to be.

Regular is a different job from deep

A regular visit keeps the top layers in check, and it is deliberately not a reset. If a home has months of build-up, a deep clean first gives the regular visits a proper starting point to maintain. Many people book the two in that order, and we are happy to say which makes sense once you tell us what state the home is in.

Your rhythm

Pick a rhythm. See your weeks.

Twelve weeks laid out, with a visit stamped on each one that has a clean. Change the rhythm and watch it re-stamp.

A middle ground: the home gets a proper going-over twice a month, with a little more to pick up at each visit than a weekly rhythm.

The point of it

A clean home should be the background of your week, not a project.

A regular service takes the job off your list, and keeps it off.

The same people

Familiarity is the feature.

What a team learns about your home is worth more than any one clean.

A stranger can clean a home well, following a list. A team that knows it cleans it better. They know the cupboard that sticks, the table that marks, the room that is off limits on Thursdays, and they do not need any of it explained twice.

That is why a regular service works best with the same people, and why we send the same team wherever possible. Familiarity cuts the small frictions out of every visit: fewer questions, fewer surprises, and a standard that holds because the person doing the work has seen the result before.

What to tell us once

The first conversation is where a regular service is set up properly. Three things make the biggest difference, and all of them fit in the notes box on the quote form.

  • How we get in. You at home, a key with a neighbour, a concierge or a code. Whatever it is, settle it at the start.
  • What to look out for. Pets, delicate surfaces, products you would rather we avoided, rooms to skip.
  • What matters most to you. Every household has one or two things that would be noticed straight away. Say what yours are.

After that, the plan runs itself. If something changes, a new baby, a new pet, a different schedule, tell us and the notes change with it.

The checklist

What a regular visit covers.

A fixed checklist for every visit, so the result does not depend on who is on shift. The quote spells out exactly what is included.

Kitchen

  • Worktops, sink and hob wiped down
  • Appliance exteriors wiped
  • Floor vacuumed and mopped
  • Bins emptied and wiped

Descaling taps and scrubbing grout are deep clean work.

Bathrooms

  • Toilet, basin and bath or shower cleaned
  • Mirrors and chrome polished
  • Floor mopped
  • Bins emptied

Built-up limescale is a deep clean job, not a routine one.

Living areas and bedrooms

  • Surfaces dusted and wiped
  • Floors vacuumed
  • Door faces, switches and handles wiped
  • Bins emptied

Skirting boards, sills and the tops of wardrobes belong to a deep clean.

Optional extras you can add on the quote form: oven, fridge, carpets and kitchen cabinets.

How it works

From the quote to a rhythm.

Four steps, and the first three only happen once.
  1. Tell us about the household

Postcode, size, who lives there and the rhythm you have in mind. Pets, rooms to skip and products to avoid go in the notes.

  2. Get your price

A real price back, with no obligation. The quote spells out what is included and any extras you have asked for.

  3. Agree the plan

The days that suit you, how we get in and any house rules, settled once so the visits that follow need no explaining.

  4. Settle into it

The same vetted, uniformed team wherever possible, working to the same checklist each visit.

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly. A shorter gap means a lighter job each visit, and a longer one means more to pick up. It depends on how hard the home is used, so tell us about the household in the quote notes. The planner on this page shows what each rhythm looks like across twelve weeks.

Wherever possible, yes. A regular clean works best when the same person already knows the home, rather than a different stranger starting from scratch each visit.

The kitchen, the bathrooms, the floors and the surfaces, worked through on a fixed checklist. It is built to keep a home up, not to rescue one. The oven, fridge, carpets and the inside of kitchen cabinets can be added as optional extras on the quote form, and the quote spells out what is included.

Not always. If the home has months of build-up, a deep clean first gives the regular visits a proper starting point to maintain. Tell us what state it is in and we'll say which makes sense.

That is up to you. Some people are in, others arrange access with a key or a concierge. Put your preference in the quote notes and we'll agree how it works before the first visit.

Yes. Oven, fridge, carpets and kitchen cabinets are optional extras on the quote form. Tick what you need and it goes into the quote.
