What this website collects when you use it, who handles it, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. Written in plain words.

Who we are
This website is run by ReadySpace Cleaning Services, a cleaning company serving homes and businesses across London. We decide what happens to the details you send us through this site, which makes us the "controller" of that information under UK data protection law.

What we collect
When you ask for a quote. The quote form asks for your name, a phone number, your postcode and the service you want. You can also choose to add an email address, the size of the property, a preferred date, optional extras and free-text notes. Only the first four are required.
When you browse, if you allow analytics. Analytics is off until you switch it on in the cookie banner. If you do, we use Vercel's analytics tools to count visits and measure how fast pages load. Vercel describes this data as including the page visited, where you came from, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your browser, device type and operating system. It does not use the form details above. If you reject analytics, none of this is collected.
When the map loads. The home page shows a Google map of the areas we cover. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your request and can use its own cookies.
Please do not put sensitive details in the notes box, such as health information or payment details.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a price.
- To arrange and carry out a clean, if you go ahead.
- To understand how the website is used, and to keep it working and fast.
We use your details for a quote because you asked us for one, which is a step taken at your request before any agreement. We use the browsing information only if you consent to analytics, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from the cookie settings. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
Who handles it
We use a small number of other companies to run this site. Each handles information only for that purpose.
- Web3Forms relays the quote form to us. The details you type are sent to Web3Forms, which passes them to our inbox. Its privacy policy (opens in a new tab) says how it handles and keeps submissions.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel says Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not collect information that would let a browsing session be rebuilt across sites or a person be identified. - Google provides the map. See Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Some of these companies are based outside the UK, so your details can be processed abroad. They each publish how they protect information when it is transferred.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to answer you and to deal with any booking that follows, and no longer than is necessary. If you would like your details removed sooner, ask us and we will delete them unless we have a reason to keep them that the law allows.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to us using your information, including for our legitimate interests;
- ask for the information you gave us in a portable form.
